Using voice mode

Once you’re in voice mode, the panel changes to a screen built for talking rather than reading.

In the middle is a blob that changes colour depending on what’s happening — listening, thinking, speaking. It’s there so you always know where things are without watching text scroll past. A glance tells you whether it’s waiting for you, working, or about to reply.

Start speaking. It listens, and when you’ve finished a thought, it goes to work and replies out loud. Then it’s listening again. You don’t press anything between turns — you just keep the conversation going.

Any time, you can flip from the blob to the transcript to read along — see what you said, what it said, and scroll back through the conversation. Switch back to the blob whenever you like. Nothing’s lost either way; it’s the same conversation shown two ways.

Switch the tab back to text from the same control, and the conversation carries on as a normal chat. Because voice is per-tab, your other conversations are untouched.
