Built-in commands
Alongside skills, the slash menu has a few built-in commands for quick jobs. Type / and you’ll find them.
/usage
Section titled “/usage”Shows how much of your Claude plan you’ve used. The same information as the meters in the status bar, on demand in the conversation.
Shows the cost of the current conversation.
/context
Section titled “/context”Shows how much of the conversation’s memory is in use right now — the number behind the context ring.
Sets a goal for the conversation, so your agent keeps what you’re trying to achieve in view as it works.
/compact
Section titled “/compact”Tidies up a long conversation, condensing what’s been said so far so you can keep going without running out of room. Hyo also does this automatically when a conversation gets full, but you can trigger it yourself any time.
