What Hyo is

Hyo brings your agent into your workspace.

As a knowledge worker, your work doesn’t live in a chat window. It lives in your documents, your notes, your markdown files — in Obsidian. That’s where you think, write, and keep what you know.

So working with an agent by copying things out to a separate chat and pasting the answers back has always been backwards. Your agent should be where your work already is.

That’s what Hyo does. It puts a real, capable agent right inside Obsidian, working alongside your notes. You talk to it in a panel next to your documents, and it can read, write, and work across everything in your vault.

An all-in-one workspace

Most people split their day across two places: the app where their knowledge lives, and a separate chat window where the AI lives. You’re forever ferrying things between them.

Hyo closes that gap. Your notes and your agent sit in one place. Ask a question and it answers from what’s actually in your vault. Ask it to draft something and it writes into your notes. Ask it to pull a project together and it works across all of them. Nothing leaves the workspace.

You can talk to it, too

You don’t have to type. Voice mode lets you have a real back-and-forth out loud — you speak, it listens, it replies. Good for when you’re thinking something through and don’t want to sit at the keyboard.

Runs on the Claude account you already have

Hyo isn’t a separate app and it isn’t a separate bill. It runs on your existing Claude login, the same one you use at claude.ai. There’s no pay-per-use API key and no meter running in the background.

You do need a paid Claude plan — Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise. Once you’re logged in, Hyo uses that.

What’s underneath

You don’t need to know this to use Hyo, but it helps to have the picture.

Hyo is built on Claude Code, Anthropic’s agent. Claude Code is what gives your agent its real ability — reading and writing files, working in steps, using the tools you’ve connected. Hyo runs it quietly in the background and brings the whole thing into Obsidian, so you get that capability without leaving the app your work lives in.
