The skills that ship with Hyo

Four skills come built in, ready to use the moment you install Hyo. Type / to find them.

/deep-research

Researches a question properly. Instead of a quick answer, your agent goes across many sources, fact-checks the claims, and writes it up with citations. Reach for it when you need a real, backed-up answer rather than a first impression.

/dataviz

Builds charts, dashboards, and data visualisations that actually read well. Hand it your data or point it at a note, and it turns it into something you can look at and understand.

/loop

Runs a prompt on a repeating interval — every twenty minutes, every hour, whatever you set — until you stop it. Useful for anything you want checked or done again and again on a rhythm.

/schedule

This is the one to try. It schedules an agent to run in the cloud on a recurring basis — even when Obsidian is closed and your computer is off.

So you can set an agent to do something every morning, or every Monday, and it just happens in the background without you being there. It’s the closest thing to having your agent working for you while you’re away from your desk.

Tip

These four were always part of Claude Code, but they used to be invisible in the slash menu, so nobody knew they were there. Hyo surfaces them. If you write your own skill with the same name, yours takes over.
